WASI supported smallholder farmers to improve agricultural productivity and food availability through the adoption of climate-smart and agro ecological practices. Farmers accessed improved seeds, tools, and extension services, leading to increased crop yields and diversification. Farmer Field Schools and demonstration plots strengthened local knowledge on sustainable farming, soil and water conservation, and farmer-led irrigation, contributing to improved household food security and nutrition.
